Open New Project OR Last . .option?

What do we think about this?

I often want to be able to decide which of these 2 options I want from the launching of Vegas - having to wait while the previos project launches . .. . Yes, I can default to Last project or not . . stepping back a bit, I'd like to decide at launch which way I want to do . .NOW somebody is gonna say we can . . ok . . tell me .. TIA!

I don't think we can, but my sugarplum dream would be a right click on the desk top shortcut, and a list of the last six projects listed appears, and select the project I want. Seems a waste, to open the complete last project only to move on to another. Merry, soon to be, Christmas, Grazie. John.

I turned off the "Open last project" option. True, a good number of times i launch Vegas i do want to continue working on the last project i had open. In these cases, it's just a simple click on File, drag down to the last project name, let up on the mouse button, and it's open. For that matter, this same procedure lets me pick any of the last 4 projects i've worked on exactly the same way. The amount of time spent doing this to open up the previous project is just about nil. For the number of times i don't want to work on the last project this is a real time saver.

True! . . I'll change my ways . . I'll get Recent Document from XP and New from just openning Vegas . . yup! That'll do me .. Grazie
