Opening MovieStudio .vf files in Vegas 4

Has anyone been able to open MovieStudio 6 .vf files in Vegas 4? I've tried on several files and it has not worked. Vegas 4 tells me that the vf file is an unsupported format.

Likewise, I can't open my Vegas 4 .veg files in MovieStudio 6.

Any suggestions for workarounds would be welcome too.

You can open project files in newer or higher versions of Vegas, but not the other way around. I suspect that Vegas 6 should be able to open Studio 6 or Studio 4 files. Vegas 4 cannot open version 5 or 6 files, either from Vegas or Studio. No version of Studio will open files from the full Vegas.
