Opening Veg Files From Timeline

MUTTLEY wrote on 8/25/2009, 11:25 AM

I have multiple versions of Vegas installed, when I select a nested veg file from the timeline and choose "Edit in Vegas" it's opening it in the 64 bit version of Vegas 9 though I want it to open in the 32bit. In Windows its set up right but when working in any version of Vegas the default for opening a nested veg is always V9 64bit. So how/where do I change this?

Ray -- I'm getting the opposite. No matter where the veg was created, or which version of 9.0a I'm running, "Edit in Vegas" opens the 32 bit version, Build 704. I'm looking for a preference or setting but so far can't find it. Must be here somewhere. Never was aware of this.

Probably in the Windows registry.

Maybe the "default programm in order to open files"
-> in explorer, right-clic on a .veg file, "open with..." and see what is the default ? (and change it ?)

Nope Fred, already did that and it opens the preferred version anywhere except within Vegas.

Had the smart idea to just uninstall the 64bit version, makes sense right? Now if I try to "Edit in Vegas" I get "An error occurred acessing source project" ... bah
