I am sorry but this is my first time using. I have wasted hours trying how to open my file I created in Vegas in the architect program. Any suggestions would be awesome.
Click "Program" or "File" in the main menu, and then RENDER AS. There, select the AC3 format, and export the audio using that format. Then, select the Main Concept MPEG-2 format, and from the various templates select the appropriate one -- depending if you shot NTSC or PAL, or widescreen or not.
This will create two files for you: an AC3 audio, and an mpeg2 video. Bring both files on to DVD Architect, which will put them back together.
That's the "Vegas Pro" way ... "Vegas Movie Studio" is even easier.
Note: I have VMSP 8.0 .. I assume that it's still the same in 9.0
When you have finished editing your project in Vegas Movie Studio .. click MAKE MOVIE (on the top menu bar)
select BURN IT TO DVD, and click NEXT
choose the locations on your hard disk to save the two rendered files (one video, one audio), click NEXT
Vegas will render your project. When done you will get the MAKE MOVIE - COMPLETED box showing the location and names of the two files. ALSO there is a box saying SEND TO DVD ARCHITECT. Click that box and DVDA will automatically open with your two files already loaded!
