Ordered, but should I wait

I have ordered the upgrade from VF 2.0 to VV 3.0 (saturday night) and have a project I am ready to start on. So, it'll be a week or so before VV shows up. I have downloaded the demo and am wondering a couple of things.

Is the capture codec different between VF2 and VV3? If so I'm assuming I should use the VV capture.

If I am to use the VV capture, is it safe to use the current demo version until my package arrives? Or are there limitations on the length of capture, inserting annoying beeps in the audio, or anything like that I would have to contend with? If so, I either wait, or use the VF capture, depending on the answer to question #1 (quality difference).

Sure, I could have gotten the download only version, but since the price was the same, I would just as soon have the cd and book to go along with it. :)

Thanks,
Michael

But by the time you get the disc, the update will be available & you'll have to download the program anyway so the disc will be outdated

oh boy, here we go again
i hate to be the bearer of bad news but...
there is no manual with vv3
you have to download it from the website
also, vv3 demo version does not let you render
i think you should call sonic foundry and tell them your situation and they will provide you with a key to download a version right away
then you can get started asap!!
hope this helps
good luck
