Ordinal 47 error-Won't make movie

I upgraded to VMS 6 and did a long slideshow, rendered it in MPEG2, that worked fine, but I wanted to change some things, so I edited the vf file and burned a wmf copy to disk for a friend. Today I went to render it to MPEG2, and the error message "The Ordinal 47 could not be located in the dynamic link library mpegin.dll"
This message prevents me from going further.

Problem went away when I closed the file, closed and reopened VMS and reloaded the vf file. Stll don't know what an ordinal is, sorry to clutter the forum.
Consider issue closed.
