Original Markers/Chapters Import

Hi

I usually use DVD Architect to author DVD with subtitles in my native language.I start by demuxing the audio and the video, add the subtitles and mix all together again. Now, is there a way to get the original chapters/markers from my original DVD? I read something about exporting chapters in Vegas and import in Architect but I don´t know how.

Thanks in advance

When you render in Vegas, there is an option that you must check in order to "save project markers in media file". Then when the rendered project is opened in DVDA the markers are present.

Not sure if this answers your question, because you wrote
"Now, is there a way to get the original chapters/markers from my original DVD?"
and I am not sure if you are working with a project or an already made DVD.

Thanks for the reply.
In fact I work with an already made DVD. Then I separate Audio from Video and I don´t reencode or render anything. There are a lot of Chapter extraction tools but I don´t know of any compatible with Architect.

What do they extract the chapters to? Text file?

Yes, or something that the application can understand as chapters.DVD Decrypter exports chapter files to a lot of authoring tools like Maestro,Ulead DVD Workshop, etc. I don´t even know what´s the file extension or the contents of the Marker/chapter file in DVD Architect.

I also heard about scripts. I have one that says to put chapters every 5 minutes but I don´t know how to use it.
