Hello.

Vegas is actually optmized for the Windows default settings, and
requires no tweaking for optimal performance. In fact, in some cases
it seems as if changing the OS degrades the performance,
unfortunately I can think of no exact examples at this time.

Im sure turning off "auto- insert notification" couldnt hurt
and Im sure there are others buried in there somewhere, but all the
old OS tweaks I did for win98 dont apply to Windows 2000, which runs
ROCK solid for me so far

Me too as far as WIN2000 goes! Very nice! I'm sure there are some
tweaks to be found! What have you done to your WIN98 install?
