OT: 1080p 30fps non-slr still cams w/20x+ opt zoom

Regarding a small utility camera that will shoot 12 MP stills, has a built in optical hi-zoom, and will shoot HD video at 1080p and 30fps...

I've been looking at the Canon PowerShot sx20 IS lately.
It is a very affordable ($369) 12.1 MP cam that will also shoot HD at 720p 30fps... and it has a 20 x optical zoom.

Not the ultimate cam or a studio cam but very handy for very decent stills and OK for an occasional HD video clip.

The question:
I would really like the same sort of built-in optical hi-zoom 12 MP cam that can also shoot video at 1080p at 30fps.

It's a little tricky to Google this with all the spec's so I thought I would ask you guys.

Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

I bought a Sanyo HD2000 to carry in my pocket during a cruise to Alaska. I presumed it would be a mere toy, but boy was I wrong! It has a resolution almost as good as my Sony HC-1s, shoots progressive 60 fps, has even better manual controls compared to the HC-1s, and records to flash cards. Its audio input seems to have not quite as good S/N ratio with my wireless mic, and there is no LANC control, nor can I monitor on a large monitor as I shoot. Also, poor image stabilization.

But I've found good work-arounds for these limitations. I record audio to an HC-1 when in the studio. Instead of using a large monitor to fine-tune the focus, I've found the autofocus to be accurate - and I lock it in place with a button on the remote control. And running shaky footage through new deshaker so far has done a good job of replacing a built-in stabilizer - even though it does tie up my computer for awhile.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this little camera.
