OT: 300GB for $70

It's an IDE Seagate drive, $70 after rebate, for those of you lucky enough to live near a Fry's store in the USA.

I picked up a Hitachi 250GB PATA for $50 at Fry's - they had SATA there too on the same pallette. That was a few weeks ago - good deals come and go there - I'd imagine there'll be one next week too.

I'm jealous! All we have in our city is a Best Buy :( and they put Circuit City out of business here. If I want to go to CompUSA or some other electronic store, I have to go to Memphis or Nashville. I would like a Fry's!

John, sorry to hear it was sold out at your location--I went down to the local Fry's (Wilsonville, Oregon) this afternoon and got one. They had lots of them here, but I don't know if the various stores ship merchandise to each other.
