Met a gent last week whose doing good business installing those lenticular 3D displays in shopping centres. One solution to the problem of the shoppers having to be in one particular spot is easily solved, get them while they're on the escalators.
Speaking of display tech I saw the Christie Microtiles yesterday, very impressive. 115% of CIE 1931 and 800 nits. They use a LED powered DLP. Amazing reds and greens, clients like these because their products appear the correct color e.g. Coke cans look like the real deal. Each tile is 12" square and cost $5K so a tad expensive for the home.
