OMG that is strange! I love illusions ‘cuz essentially, life is just an illusion. “Reality” is just our perception of reality and we each have our own unique perception. So who is to say what is “real’? (...wanders off in deep profound thought) ;-)

They even had sobriety checkpoints on weekday mornings at 8am...

Yesterday and today I am dealing with the agonizing pain of kidney stones. As such, the hospital has put me on a fairly heavy dose of pain killers. These dots are one of the most amazing things I've seen! I wonder if they will look as interesting tomorrow?

You have to look it up in your calendar! :O)

I had kidney stones many years ago, but got lucky with Dr. Richard Schulze's kidney herbs. In 4 days, the pain was completely gone and I could cancel the surgery.

I wish there was something as quick for gallstones. I'm waiting for surgery right now, and, well, let's just say I had to reset my pain scale.

Went to Cedars-Sinai Pain Management Center yesterday, I was very impressed with their broad knowledge. They also changed my meds to less known stuff that is more effective but presents a much lower load on the liver. The latter is really important if you're on pain meds for a long time (I also have another problem).

The hospital said it should run its course in about 3 or 4 days. I thought I knew what severe pain was until I experienced a whole new level yesterday. Good luck with your stones.

I'm sympathetic since I too have had a kidney stone. If you have never had them before I will give you a little possible good news from my experience:

1. It does end. You will know it when the stone drops into your bladder.

2. The last phase is a piece of cake. I didn't feel a thing and it was pretty big rock.

Of course your mileage may vary.

I was actually wondering what "phase II" would be like, but figured I would just deal with it when the time came. Your experience is very encouraging.
