Can't comment on the class specifically, but it's a great program/good facility. The course description looks quite good.

I put my son, Adam, into the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale (one of the 28 AI schools in the country). He could have gone mostly anywhere. This seemed to have the most realistic outlook on actually learning stuff that would be of use. (I don't put too much credance in studying the history of film for two years before you pick up a camera). He was shooting and cutting his first semester.
We are extremely satsified with the courses and the school in general.
Once you are in, you can transfer, without penalty to any other city in the US.

wow, thanks....that'll help alot. this is my only real choice...because i'm in idaho, and that is about the closest place that's any good. Plus it's seattle and has an awesome hardcore scene. Thanks!

Well...Utah has some great film schools too, but there is NO hardcore scene there. None. There is the world-famous Heavy Metal Shop but that's about it. Visible tattoos, swearing in public, and bare midriffs are illegal in Utah. But BYU's film program is one of the most famous in the nation, with credits ranging from parts in Titanic to Napoleon Dynamite.

Yes, Douglas, that's my alma mater (one of them). Too, one of my first jobs was working at the BYU motion picture studios as an assistance editor.
