PRIASE THE LORD - I'M MOVING IN TOMMORROW!!!

our lender got another underwriter this morning who went through everything anew asked for a couple of updated bits of info and then our banker lady hand delivered the approval to the US title office at 4 o'clock, and we signed our papers and got our house - YESSSS!!!!!

Our realtor just did GREAT stuff for us and our banker lady - and I was so appreciative that I told them, if they need anything done (video wise) just call me, and I'll do it for them. Anyway - they all worked so hard for us, it was great.

Just had to share the joy. :)

It's maybe the only time in life that I'm going to be HAPPY that I get to spend several hours a day lifting and moving things :).

Thanks guys.

Yes indeed, nice to hear some good news.
From my distant memory of my first home the hardest thing was adjusting to the idea that it was MINE, ALL MINE. So after a few weeks of living in what still felt like someone else's home (the previous owners had lived there for over 40 years and only moved across the road!) I smashed down a wall, just so I really knew I could.

I guess some of the major milestones in one's life are:

--getting married

--buying a first home

--paying off the mortgage.

When we bought our first home, I was excited to be "putting down roots" as it were, but in the back of my head a little voice was telling me that this really wasn't our home, it still belonged to the bank. You gulp a little when you realize that a major chunk of your paycheck goes to pay the mortgage every month. Add a few babies, some car payments, some unexpected roof repairs... ah, so THAT'S what made my parents the way they were...

Anyway, welcome to the homeownership phase of your life. May you have many peaceful days of enjoyment.
