OT - Another step toward DSLR Video

When I first starting looking at the new DSLRs with HD video the drawbacks of using such a camera for event video sorta took the steam out of my engine.... then I see stuff like this and start thinking this could be an alternative to a pro video camera for a guy who also spends money on still photography:

The DSLR cameras or a lightweight rig?

IMHO: BOTH

I look at the beautiful design of the RED siblings and wonder if someday
we will have smaller more modular cameras and rigs.
