OT - Anyone know about CD multimeda

I've got a potential client that would like some multimedia on his next album. Basically an interface that would come up if the end user put it in a cdrom where they could watch a couple videos/slideshow, link to his website, etc. I would be doing the videos but I'm not sure about the rest. I've seen this on a couple cd's but haven't been able to track down the companies that developed the content.

Anyone here able to jump on this or point me in a direction ? I need to get a bid in pretty soon.

In Multi Media CD in Vegas you can choose to use the file in a web browser - I've seen this done on may productions and it seems to work quite well.

But the multimedia option will just put the music and video files on the same cd right ? Cuz its my understanding they want an interface, like flash or sumthin, as opposed to just having the files on there.

As I remember you can "mount" the files in a web browser - that would be your interface.

This a sample of something similar that we do for local bands....the site is kind of still under development but it will give you some idea. We make Promo kits like these to send out to clubs and things like that on a CD-ROM so they can see their liver perfomances, booking information and things like that. The actual CD-ROM's look a lot better, I just had to kind of adapt it for the web.

I use a program called Multimedia Builder to create the CD-ROM content
