OT: Apple to sell Sony cameras.

The world get weirder, today for the first time I captured HDV from a Z1 into Premiere. No I haven't jumped ship! We got Premiere Standard for free on our Sony VAIO and downloaded the FREE Premiere HDV upgrade. Now after a bit of argy bargy we were able to capture from the Z1 but... Premiere will only render out to SD?
But wait, there's more. Playing around with what's on this VAIO, the rather twee Sonic Stage audio thing comes with quite a few Sony Oxford plug ins and several Waves plugs as well, including UltraMaximiser. Unless these are hugely cutdown versions it might be cheaper to get all this software by buying the laptop.
And just to rub salt in the wound, how do all these audio plugins interconnect, well it looks like a crude form of Rewire!
Perhaps this Sony division can respond by giving a free VAIO with every copy of Vegas+DVDA?

Bob.

"[Do not download] unless you are based in UK or Europe" (my emphasis)

He-he, I guess there are many people on both sides of the channel who feel the same way...

It seems pretty odd that they would include UltraMaximizer in this package.
