Ugh; oh man... and I thought the Macbook Air was stupid.

Still, though... get me some of the stuff whoever came up with that is on, lol.

As for that final quote... that women wins at life. EPIC, lol.

The last line was the best thing going on that report

And just before her (great!) line, didn't the guy say the next model will be "four ounces lighter due to its lack of screen, hard drive and wheel". What's left ?! :-)

finally an Apple product that I can use daily! ;-)

This is a joke isn't it? It looks like one of those Saturday night live commercials. I loved the look of bewilderment on the users faces as they tried to navigate the wheel to all letter.

I still can't believe this is a real product.

One has to wonder how they get a return on the costs of making this content. By the way watch the ticker tape for more laughs.

"The Aardvark asked for a dagger"

This has "all your base" potential.

Apple has ripped off the design of a toy of my youth. It was a typewriter with a wheel of type heads that were turned to select the letter you wanted.

Unlike the Apple, it required no battery and thus was an early "green" machine. Shame on you, Apple, for your polluting ways....

ROTFLMAO

It has to be about the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Not withstanding, they haven't eliminated the keyboard at all. They've simply put it on the screen... they've taken a simple concept and ADDED a level of complication to it.

Way to go Apple!

blink,

you realize this is a joke, right?

Yes, any time you see "theonion" in a link, it's going to be a spoof. They just happen to be VERY good at it.

You should never assume blink can "realize" anything at all about technology. Honestly. Particularly not the kind they write about in The Onion.

I'm subscribed to the Onion videos on YouTube and it always amazes me how many comments are from people who believe the stories are real.

"You should never assume blink can "realize" anything at all about technology. ."

That was a rather unkind, and unprovoked statement to make Terje.

First, I DO know it's a joke and second.. at least I know there IS a limit to memory on certain types Vista.. while YOU don't.... or didn't anyway... until somebody clued you in.

I try my best. Sorry that I forget to leave rather obvious smileys around my postings.

Even Mac fanatics aren't quite THAT dumb.

Mostly.

Right?

Fact is stranger than fiction - Apple removed firewire 400 ports on their latest MacBook Pro's - That sure was smart for those who edit on their laptops - can't do that now unless you buy a third party fw400card. Unless FW800 is backwards compatible for ingesting footage from tape based cameras.

And the reasoning behind that decision was???

There are inexpensive adapters and cables, I bought mine at Newegg.

No reason to have a sluggish FW400 port when you can have FW800 that works for both.
