OT: Artbeats clips available low-res just $49 now

Hi -

Something I just found out, is that Artbeats.com also sells individual clips at just $49 each for 320x240 (30 fps) and a buy 3-get the 4-th free discount.

I wish I'd known this years ago, Spot had recommended Artbeats, but I didn't want to spend $600-$700 per volume, or $199/clip, so I never bought from them. And unlike the Artbeats low-res clips on getty, these are not just 15 fps, these are full 30fps (I confirmed this, just bought and downloaded my first one, it's 29.97 fps).

So that's great news. To SEE the pricing, you need to click "cart" after viewing one of the clips, then there's the lower pricing in the drop-down menu that appears. It is not advertised on the site, and you don't see it unless you click on "cart", then see the pricing. Wish they'd made it obvious low-res was available, because I'd have bought several K worth of clips by now, at that price point. Getting out my credit card now... the new aerials are great, for cities.

I'm going to spend a lot at Artbeats today. Spread the word! :-) I hope DJ comes out with VTX 4 someday soon, too. Low-res clips are fine for flying pip type clips for those in full res/hd, and for all internet videos.

Another thing, it is well worth the time to register and get on their mailing list.

Every so often, they allow a free clip download. The free clips from them have been supurb and have actually been what I needed at the time. First class stuff...and free.

I know if you bought the Adobe CS3 suite, they allowed something like 10 free clips for download. Really nice stuff.

Great idea, thanks - I just did that... can't beat the price. Also motionloops.com has regular free downloads, some are pretty good, on their email list, though mainly just background graphics vs actual video shoots.

I just spent $850 at artbeats today.
