OT: Artifacts & Pixelization

Anyone with DirecTV noticing, even on "high-end" commercials, the artifacts and pixelization that is appearing? So much for quality, as discussed in wmunn's thread about DVD quality! <sigh>

It wouldn't make a difference if it was high end or low end, the encoding is being done by the DirectTV folks, not the producers, so the same artifacts will be produced in all of the programming.
