Also check out Alfred Hitchcock's "Rope". It is presented as one continuous take. However, the 10-minute limit of film camera magazines made an actual single take impossible. The splice points were carefully planned but a few were a tad noticeable when I watched it. Still an impressive effort as the set was constantly adjusted as the camera moved around and changing directions.

At least they didn't have to go more than 10 minutes without a mistake.
