We had a number of problems with this recorder too, crashing after recording for more than 1 hour and ten minutes (same on two units), vertical synch problems on composite input, no jkl shuttle in Media Express 3. Also audio level inconsistency between video inputs with standard test tone. Combination of problems with this recorder and media express with a Decklink card installed. BMD took it back with a full refund. A pity, as normally BMD products are great, also let down by Media Express 3 software.
