FWIW - Sony makes a couple of Blu-Ray laptops.
Then can be configured to read and write Blu-ray at 2x.
The specs are pretty cool, since they can play BR and have HDMI ports to play directly on a HiDef screen.
This beats the crap out of transporting a deck or PS3 for screenings... soooo....
Anyone got any real experience with any of these?
And... how long does it take to burn a 1 hr BluRay show at 2x/
BTW - Sony is supposed to release a 4x BluRay writer this month for under $600 bucks.
