OT: Blue/Green Screens Everywhere and HD Video

Planning on catching the new "Sin City" movie this weekend.

Was looking at some production stills and those guys used blue/green screens/tape/suits in practically every shot--complete digital backlot. Should be a very interesting movie if for no other reason than the visual effects should be pretty sweet.

Reading up on the movie I found out they used HD Digital cams instead of film. It's being called the world's first "fully-digital" live action motion picture. (Sky Captain was shot on film)

Makes me wanna break out some screens and start shooting.......

Wasnt that the movie that the entire trailer each scene was done with a color pass and 0 saturation?

Man - I love Sky Captain, I'm pretty sure it was shot on HD though...

I stand corrected....Sky Captain was also shot with HD ( I misread the article I was originally reading)

Please don't tell my wife....she thinks I never make mistakes!
