I have Boris Red but I haven't tried Blue yet because of the hardware requirements. It only works with a very limited number of video cards. Plus I think they are out of their minds on the price to upgrade from RedGL-$1000! A program (Red) that was $1500 when I invested in it. I always liked the interface on Boris products but Red lacked some essential features like different viewports, cameras and lights that can be animated on a path ect...has Blue even added those features yet? I just bought the upgrade to After Effects 7.0 Professional and I love it. It only lacks some 3d components that Red has like extruding titles but Red is pretty limited as a true 3d app in that regard. Bottom line: it appears that Blue is what the next version of Red should be, as it appears to be set up the same way as Red.
