Okay, I know this is probably a dumb question, but I need to get some video from a friends Sony D8 camera to my Sony miniDV camera. Can it be as simple as just getting a Firewire cable with 4-pin plugs on each end, and hooking the two cameras up in this fashion? What we've done in the past has been to transfer via VV3.
