An interim solution (until Kelly sees this and responds) that might require more work than you like -- you could make a couple minute video with a little narration and post it. Personally I'd love to see it.

Yes please! Always looking for neat solutions to old problems.

Kelly, you there??? :)
Looking at making the video with narration, but I first have to get my mic problem resolved. Didn't think anyone would be interested in a "presentaion". I forgot alot here are into fun montages as well as expert stuff. Thanks for the encouragement.

Hi there. Yes, i'm here, just been busy with the application coding side of life more than website coding last week. Look for some greatly enhanced file upload / profiling stuff at vegasusers.com early this week.

Excellent! Thanks.

Built it myself! Ah the joys of being able to weld and having access to all the steel and aluminum one could want! :)

do you have the URL? I'd like to see it.

I'm trying to get a little montage goin'. However, the next couple days are hectic, so it'll go to the middle/end of the week. I might just slap the 3 pictures I took together and post it on the Vegasusers video sharing site, then I'll embelish later.

MyST: if you want to just eMail the pictures to me@vegasusers.com and then post your description in the forum there, i'll attach the pictures to your posting manually.

Cool!
BTW, my daughter's been telling me to let you know that there are a couple of other ways to see your username. Translated from french, Chienworks is Dogworks. That makes Chien Chat...Dog Cat. :)

Many of my chatters referred to Chienworks* Chat as "chienchat" for short, and quite a few kept suggesting i register chienchat.com for the name. Problem was, that name was already taken by a French company that sold pet supplies to dog and cat owners ;) Then when about the 4,937th person suggested it again, i told them to go to http://www.chienchat.com/ for themselves and see that the name was already taken. They said "nothing's coming up. That website wasn't found." I headed over to networksolutions.com, credit card in hand, and 30 seconds later it was mine (LOL).

Now i just have to explain to everyone that my name isn't French ... it's Chinese ;)

I did get a very pleading email a few weeks later, in French, from someone saying that all this new chat stuff was nice and fun, but she wished she could still order dog food and wondered where the online orderform had gone. Oops.

Maybe you could sell pet supplies as a side-line. :)

Sent the pics to your e-mail.

Ahhh. Thanks GG :) Actually i've never been there. My dad was born in Shanghai, but he and his brothers came back to the US with their American mother when he was 6. I do appreciate the sentiment!

Paul_Holmes wrote on 2/4/2003, 10:40 AM
Click on forum on this page Vegususers.com and then on "Forum." You'll see the studio setup topic.
