Came across Comodo Time Machine today and I've just given it a quick try. Seems to work really very well.
It allows you to take snapshots of your system, then go back and forth to get your system to a working state. It reminds me of Norton Go Back (which I never liked), but seems to be more flexible, like Acronis True Image's backup feature. I always found Acronis a little slow, but Comodo Time Machine is very fast.
Comodo also has a System Cleaner that resembles CCleaner, but does a much more rigorous job of cleaning the registry. I'm impressed so far.
Both apps are free...
