OT Computer reboot fix just FYI

My computer recently started randomly rebooting. Sometimes right after start and sometimes 10 minutes or so after start. I changed all components one at a time (CPU, PSU, fan, memory, disconnected drives and USB devices). Did all sorts of searches on line and was pretty much ready to write it off as a failing motherboard.
Then I saw one blurb online about the power switch going bad. Put a meter on the power switch and the reset switch and the reset switch was all over the place continuity wise. Unhooked and computer hasn't rebooted for over an hour. May be too early to be sure, but I was glad it was a simple fix. Just wanted to pass this along.

A Chevy will do the same thing.

I know my MG Midget would do strange things like that.

Another reason to put the old power switches back on the front of the machines, not just those momentary toggle switches. :)

Glad you figured it out before you spent major $.
