OT - corrupt codec?

I am trying to troubleshoot some problems and I ran a untility called "code sniper". It lists all of your codecs and tells you that they are either 'ok' or 'broken' . It found the following problem:

Class - DirectShow
Name - MPEG-2Sections and Tables
Filename - %systemroot%system32mpeg2data.ax
FourCC - (blank)
Version - (blank)
Status - broken

Does anyone know where I might find another copy of this codec(?) and how do I install it?

Could you post a link to the "Code Sniper" All I can find is some junk about Funambol.

You may not find it as I mistyped the name it should be 'Codec Sniper'. I have attached the .zip file and sent it to you. You might also try 'G Spot', it gives you more information. I don't have a link for that either, but it should 'google' with no problems.
