Probably the best of the bunch is DriveCrypt from www.securstar.com.

There is also an excellent open-source program called "TrueCrypt." It doesn't have quite the features or the encryption stremgth of DriveCrypt, but it's free.

I use the free Cryptomathic File2File - http://www.cryptomathic.com/file2file/. It integrates with the explorer so you can right-click on a file or directory and encrypt/decrypt. What I like is that it is pass-phrase encrypted, which means you can take your encrypted file to another machine, a backup CD, whatever, and as long as you have the pass-phrase, you can decrypt it. Other solutions, such as Windows encryption, are tied to the particular machine, and if you don't save off the magical key, you can never recover your data.
