Recommendations on Digital Camcorders for a previously analog guy?
I can't believe how many are out there, and since it will be an investment, I want something that works well and has long battery life. Still pictures are also a must since I don't want to buy another digital camera on top of it (I have one now, it is very basic, and I need to upgrade).
What I am looking for:
Low Lux
Long battery life
ease of use
good capacity and ability to hot swap memory sticks
at least 4x zoom (10-20x is better)
price under $500 (lol, I know I am asking for a lot)
No dealers or biased consumers please, just regular video enthusiats who have good things to say about what they use.
Thanks :-)
PS I rarely check the forum, so if anyone can email me (no spam please, I have multi-layer spam/virus/trojan/etc. protection systems and is is just a waste of your time) @ ThatJimGuy2003@direcway.com
