I am looking at taking advantage of a value pack (10 DVDs) from Digital Juice and would like to get everyone's feedback about what they feel the top ten DJ products would be.
I do a lot of corporate type videos, interviews, need lower thirds etc.
Duncan, you ask 10 people, you'll get 10 different combinations. Just pour over them like I did (for days) and start by weeding out the ones you know you won't use (wedding). Then cross off those you don't like. Before long, you'll be down to the final 10.
my choices were the the editors tools kits 1-2 and corporate.
and all the High Def volumes as well as some of the std def ones .
it does depend on what your target market is. but no doubt buying the 10 packs or any of their multiple deals is the way to go.
the juicer helps organize them nicely, no real problem with redundant items at least not in any of the ones that i have.
However many of the items in the ETK's match up with media in the other volumes.
I see what you're saying. I went through the same thing. I decided to go with the JumpBacks because they gave me far more to choose from and to work with. The Editor's Tool Kits, I felt, were limited. Yes, they gave you several matching elements, but I can create those in Vegas. However, I saw too many elements in ETK that I would never use, so that was the deciding factor for me.
