It's with great pride that I announce my latest film, "Director/Cameraman" (inspired by the folks right here on the Vegas website) just won a Bronze Award at the 2007 Telly Awards.

Here is the exact quote from the Telly Award committee.

"The 28th Telly Awards competition received over 13,000 entries from the finest ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies and corporations around the world. It is a tremendous achievement to be selected for recognition."

Thanks for all the support and help from everyone on this site.

Woohoo Vic. Way to Go!!!! I planned on picking one up but with a new baby and summer vacation here (no paychecks during the summer), Ill have to wait a little bit longer to enjoy award winning talent. <frown>

Thats awesome news though. I was just saying to my my significant other the night that I would have loved to intern for you and Spot one summer just so I could be better in my classroom for my kids.

Congrats! It has always been a pleasure to learn tricks of the trade from you.
A little reward from your peers is so satisfying. You deserve it and hope you receive many more!

Excellent DVD in all respects. Teaching by example. The most entertaining teaching video I've ever enjoyed watching.

Well done Victor.
I haven't gotten around to watching your DVD but I must I think and real soon too. Thanks to Victor and another mentor's encouragement I've had the confidence to put my hand up for a few projects that I would have previously shied away from.

Outstanding Victor! Great video and most deserving the recognition. Seeing you actually doing the techniques that you teaching really enhances learning for me. It's a great video. Keep'em coming.

Well deserved recognition Vic - your style is invitingly informal but incredibly informative - you cover an amazing range of tips so easily, and give great examples of everything..

Mazeltov! - On you, it looks good. Vot a mench!!

Vic, very well done. You have to be feeling great.

Now, you lot, go get the DVD!! There are 40 years of professional "How-To"s just ready, available and waiting for you to take advantage of. I've watched the 2-DVD set 4 times now. Each time I picked up something different. Apart from the learning part, I found it thoroughly entertaining. It is full of "real" people, reacting in "very real" ways!

Then there is the Wild Boar!

OK, seeing from behind the camera, the whole setting AND the reasons why Vic does it the way he does, not only has opened up "new" ways for me, but AS he and his team do the biz in front of you, you get kinda "roped-in" to the whole process too. In this way Vic - IMO - pulls of one of those rare teaching/enabling/empowering roles so often neglected - and that by example, he gives "permissions" to go ahead and do it for yourself.
