OT:DMF6

I know this may not be the best place to post this question, but I do know there are forum members out there with the answer to my questions, so here goes.

I want to burn HD-DVDs using DMF6 w/ the HD pack in conjunction with Vegas Pro. I shoot with a Sony HC7. In Vegas I edit directly with the m2t file captured from the HC7. I have no problems there. Most of the editing consists of cutting out unwanted portions, adding text, transitions and doing some color correction.

My questions:
What template do I use in Vegas to render the file to in preparation for DMF6?

In DMF6 what project properties do I use?

Please be very specific if you can. i.e. bit rate, upper field, lower field, none, etc.

Thanks so much for your help. I've been lucky on one project and everything worked, but most of the time I am getting lousy sound or some stuttering video and/or sound.

Thanks again,

Galen

You might have more luck posting this in the 'Vegas Pro - Video' forum - there are forum members there who use DMF6 for HD-DVD/Blu-ray authoring. (You could also try searching that forum for posts relating to DMF6)

Let me know if you got it working.

You can create excellent DVD-9 & DVD-5 HD-DVD discs using Ulead. You should have no problem when you figure it out.

I know it only for Blu Ray in MF6: you can render with Vegas to HDV 1080 50i/60i - and that is not recompressed in MF6, as long as you adjust the settings to 1440x1080, 50i/60i, uff.

Maybe that works also fine for HD-DVD (but I have not tested that).

That works for HD-DVDs too.
