Thanks for the notice, Lawrence. I saw this posted this morning over on the DVInfo.net site as well....I didn't look thru that issue clearly enough, I guess.
It's an article on Sound Libraries from Jeffrey P. Fisher, one of the moderators on the Vegas, Sound Forge, and Acid forums at the DMN. He's just launched his own new royalty free buyout library for video users.
(sorry to continue the off-topic thread). I have Volume 1 of Voices of Native America, and it's AWESOME - one of the BEST! Is Volume 2 for Acid available? I've been reading about it, but haven't been able to find it for Acid yet. Let me know. Thanks, and great work!
i love the voices sounds too. used them on many projects.
the VOICES OF THE AZTECS is smokin too.
can we get voices#2 on ACID somewhere?
oh. really nice article in musician. kudos
Jeez, guys....Maybe.
Volume 2 is just over a gig of information, mostly vocal, flute, single drums and other indigenous percussion, very few loops, lotsa single hit stuff. I suppose it could be ported to ACID, but I'd need to find a distributor for it. Since Sony's acquired Sonic Foundry, loop distribution/sales are done differently than they once were.
Glad to hear you all like what you've heard of version 2. It seems to crop up everywhere from "The Whole Ten Yards" to "Cold Mountain."
I'll talk to the folks at Qup and see if they are interested in porting over to ACID.
