They give their head office address as 101 California Street
San Francisco. Google shows it as a high rise office building.

All smells fishy to me and their prices aren't that cheap.

Did you Google them? If you did, you would have found these threads:

Dvstage.com- Any one bought from here? - Photography
Anyone bought anything from DVStage.com ? at DVinfo.net

Which pretty much confirm the following:

They use some company called liberty reserve for the payment method which is based out of costa rica and the terms and conditions are pretty shocking.. seem to spell out you stand a good chance of getting ripped of with no rights at all.

A quick view of their Payments link starts with this:

How to Pay for Your Order. DvStage Store accepts LibertyReserve online. To pay using LibertyReserve, go to your LibertyReserve account and transfer the order total to our LibertyReserve account (our LibertyReserve account # will be e-mailed to you). Be sure to submit with the payment your DvStage.com Order ID # so we can properly match up your payment with your order. If you don't have an LibertyReserve account and would like one, you can open a no-obligation LibertyReserve account online. (But you will not be able to use it until you have funded it.) Once you have created your LibertyReserve account you need to add funds.

It goes on to say:

Usually you can fund your LibertyReserve account

All of which have zero protection and are equivalent to mailing cash.

Yea, right... I'm going to transfer funds into their account from my account... I don't think so.

'nuf said. Run far away and don't look back.
