OT: embedding Vimeo hosted video

I am using Vimeo to host video (now that Stage6 is defunct), which I like - it hosts HD as well as SD, is flash-based (I think) so just about anyone can view the videos, and has an option to permit downloads of the hosted video. Vimeo also has an option to display the video in a box on your website, by pasting some code they provide into your website HTML.

My personal website has a pretty low monthly bandwidth limit, which why I use Vimeo to host. Would there be any difference in the bandwidth usage on my site between embedding the Vimeo hosted video as opposed to just placing a link to the Vimeo video on the page?

No, either way, the video would be served up by Vimeo.

I'd imagine it's the same, single flash file, whether it's on their site or embedded elsewhere. So the quality would be identical.

Whether you simply provide a link to the Vimeo site or imbed their player on your web site, the video file itself does not get stored on your web site.
