I have been looking for them for years. No go. Wrote to Sony, Panasonic, Maxell, and Fuji asking about them. No response from any of them.

I also looked for this as well as 8MM cases years ago.

Apparently, not a single company sells them anywhere. Looks like you have to buy a new tape to get the case.

This is not quite what you are looking for. It holds 9 tapes rather than just one.

I am thinking this might be a handy way to store the original tapes.

Ask a local rental company to save their old test tapes for you.

I'd offer you a few from where I work but there's the postage and a tape lasts us a few months so it'd take a while.

I actually sell the albums you mentioned, and storage racks for Mini-DV tapes that hold 24 or 50 tapes. But they are not very good without the original case the tape came in. A real bummer that no one sells them. I would if I could find a wholesale source.
