OT:Epson R320 vs R300 Printers

Epson has just introduced the new R320 printer to replace the R300. The 300 is available marked down with rebate locally and I'm tempted to get one, as it prints on printable CDs and DVDs.

But I can't seem to determine the difference in the two from anything I've read. Does anyone know if the 320 is a big improvement or just basically the same model with a couple of changes?

Thanks.

According to the Product Comparison Chart on the Epson Website. they look basically identical except the newer one has a LCD preview screen and you can print without a computer.

Thanks for the link. That PDF was not there the last time I checked a while back. The 320 wasn't listed, just the 200 and 300.

Interestingly, it says the 300 doesn't have preview monitor, but I had read elsewhere during the summer that it did, in a comparison between the 200 and 300. The 300 was also billed, I believe, at the time as PC Free printing. Maybe now it's just MORE PC Free Printing ready.

The R300 does print without a computer but the preview screen is an option - comes with the R300M. The R320 is is probably the closest, if you like, to the R300M in that they both have a preview screen and print without a computer.

Cheers,
