Just updated to Win7 64 bit and thought I would try to plug in my scanner - didn't work on Xp64 because no drivers were available - it didn't work on Win 7 64 either - So I did a quick Google search and to my surprise, Epson now has 64 bit drivers for many of their scanners including my 3170 Photo - ran the download and it's up and running fine now! No more reason to have a 32 bit system for me other than Nikon Raw image viewer - hope that is supported by a 64 bit system in the near future too.
