I know there are a couple of others here besides myself who are musicians. I just became aware of a free music hosting site that really does it right. Bandcamp.com is to music what Vimeo.com is to video:

You can allow or disallow downloads, charge for downloads (with a link to your paypal acount), embed, link to, upload custom art, have custom art embedded upon download, etc.

It's about time somebody did music hosting right.
