OT: Firestore or Nnovia/Laird for field capture?

I've done a search on both, but these posts are several months old. Obviously looking for the most flawless performance (both caputre AND battery) as well as portability. The mounting doesn't really matter as much since I'm using a GL2 and none seem to exist for that.

Thanks for any additional info.

I like the Laird DV3 as it is in AVI on the disk.
Mount... belt holder included.
Hook up a firewire monitor for tradeshows loops.

Don't like the really tiny display.

I'm looking at the FS-3 setup.
Check www.focusinfo.com/products/firestore/fs-3.html

(BTW, how do you make a direct link to a url?)

You simply use standard HTML. If you do a search in this forum, it has been discussed several times as well.

I LOVE the Nnovia. It's a great tool. I did a review on it, just finished reviewing the Firestore...but that's where I'll leave it for now. You can find my Nnovia review on the DMN. Nnovia makes the Laird unit.
