Whoever designed the firewire connector obviously never intended to use it himself! It tends to work loose and fall out of decks and cameras at the most inopportune moments -- like during capture and playback.

Anyone have a solution to this problem, some way to lock the firewire plug into the socket? Wouldn't a BNC -type connector have been great.?
