You asked about how noisy my new computer system turned out. I have record a noise test for you by making a Camtasia recording with it right beside me. Obviously there are things that can be done to separate you from the system and reduce any noise, but this will give you an idea of what it is in the worst case.

It is at http://amediaprof.com

Hey Keith,

Thanks for that demo. I'm gonna have to listen to it closely on my M-Audio speakers when I get home tonight but from my Linux laptop here in the office I'm very impressed. (and thank you so much for going through the trouble of making that recording) That's real bad news for my wallet. ;-)

Was that the stock fan on the H70 or did you change it? In fact, can you just list all of your parts so I can just go out and buy them? Maybe you should maintain this on your web site like I do so pesky people like me stop bothering you. :-D

(Oh... and I LOVE your tee shirt, "There's no place like 127.0.0.1") lol

Very few people get the the T-shirt. You qualify as a premier geek now.

I had to modify the H70 considerably to quiet it down. In the stock config, it is jet engine time.

I am working on writing up the parts list and build instructs for my blog. I just wanted to wit until I had results that I was happy with.

This reminds me of a case made entirely out of fans:

It probably sounds like a squadron of jets.
