OT: Free or cheap burning software

Hi Kids -

Recently got five NEC 3540A DVD/RW's for work really cheap from newegg.com and found out they didn't come with buring software (I have lots of legit/licensed stuff at home but not at work and don't want to put non-licensed software on work machines).

I found Burn4Free (GNU free software) which works for data discs (CD and DVD) and audio (CD) but was wondering if anyone else knew about another package we could use (again - free or really cheap) that would burn movie DVD's?

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Bruce

CopyToDVD is fairly inexpensive - something like $40 and they sometimes run discounts. www.vso-software.com

Are the movies already authored in the necessary format? If so, just burn it as a data DVD using the app you mentioned. I use DVDA to author my videos but I use RecordNow to burn them as data discs.

Ask around for someone to give you their old copy of Nero 4 or 5. I gave mine away. I think would work great.

CDBurnerXP Pro is a free CD/DVD burning solution.
With this software you can burn CD-R, CD-RW DVD+R/RW DVD-R/RW discs. All features in detail you can read on the features page.

Be careful using CDBurnerXP Pro. It does not support the UDF file system which a lot of standalone dvd players require to play your dvd movie.
