OT: FS-100 and promo Vegas 11

fotofreak99 wrote on 6/2/2012, 11:44 AM
I received a free copy of Vegas Pro 11 with my FS-100. I'm a Vegas Pro user and have been upgrading since version 8 so I obviously really need this copy. It was very nice of them to include it and I of course appreciate it. On the other hand the camera wasn't cheap :-)

Does anyone think it's NOT okay to sell it? I have someone locally that is interested.

Appreciate any opinions.

Thanks,
Ike

Seems like a legal copy that you essentially paid for, so I certainly see no moral issues here. The purchaser will be able to register under his/her name.....

...so I obviously really need this copy.

Then , why would you sell it?

Hehe. I obviously DON'T need this copy.

Sounds more in line with your intended actions.

Personally, I would probably upgrade my own version to v11 and let my friend search for a good deal online. But, if you decide to sell it, I think you are free and legal to do so.

If you have not yet registered it, I believe it's as simple as giving it to him.
If you have registered it, I think you need to contact SCS and have the license transferred.
