OT: Full HD Projector suggestion

I have been looking forward to purchase a 1080p full HD beamer for a while now. It’s primarily for watching movies, Blurays & DVD’s.

Sony VPL-VW90ES seems great but its far beyond my budget of 1.5k.

I am hearing good things about the Epson EH-TW6000 (the one without the 'W' wireless HDMI) and it's at top of my list, anyone here have one? Due to the dimming Iris the black levels seems to be good too.

Even though the 3D function is a nice feature I will be primarily using it for 2D viewing.

Would like to purchase it around August 2012.

Any other suggestion?

I would take a look at the JVC DLA-RS40 B-Stock for $1750. Here are some reviews.

Another very good projector (albeit with somewhat limited placement flexibility) is the BenQ W6000 for $1500. Excellent sharpness for a projector. Good reviews.

Also, you can look at the posts here and post questions to the forum members. They are very helpful.
