?
I'm thinking about buying a monitor from them and want to know if this is a good idea or not.
www.resellerratings.com gives them top marks, but that's only based on 4 reviews and none in the last 6 mo.

I have ordered audio equipment from them (stereo mic and RF filters). Decent prices and good service. When I am getting ready to buy something they are one of the places I always check. YMMV.

I've used Full Compass extensively for years, as they're based near Madison, Wisconsin, where I live. I can't recommend them highly enough. EXTREMELY knowledgeable staff, superb customer service, straight shooters, good prices. I don't have much experience with their shipping, since I usually drive over and pick things up myself.

If you order by phone, they'll set you up with your own personal sales representative. That way, the next time you call, you get connected with the same person who helped you the previous time. I often call up my rep to ask questions about weird equipment needs (especially audio) that come up from time to time.

Although they've been in business for at least 20 years, they've only recently gone to full online ordering, so that's probably why you're seeing a short history in the reseller ratings.

Yeah I go there all the time too. I live about 10 minutes from them. I find going there and talking with the sales people easier than trying to navigate their crappy website. :) Their site is the only thing about them I don't like. Their facility is world class. I've rented a ton of equipment from them too, which comes in real handy when I'm doing a show and I don't have enough stuff.

I'm in Rockford, IL, just over an hour south of Madison. I've used Full Compass for several years since I moved here, and I even ordered from them a few times when I was living in Alaska.

I agree that their web site needs some work, but the company itself is solid. As far as shipping, I've ordered items in the afternoon and had them delivered before 9:00 the next morning. Obviously not everyone is close enough for that to happen, but they ship quickly. They also have the best prices on most items I've seen when I've been doing research.

I know my salesman by name and he's been great to work with. I've even been up to their store/warehouse a few times and they're great people in person as well.
