OT GEAR PRO Mastering V. 7

Hi I have just gotten to a point I need to do a DLT for mastering and have purchased GEAR Pro Mstering for DVD ver. 7. It does a great job with DL burning too. Lets you pick a good place for the layer break and will check it too. GEAR 7 also writes a DDP file for CSS encryption to a DLT and can make a DDP image from a burned DVD. I havn't explored all the things GEAR Pro does but it's nice to know it's there if I need it. The folkes on the Adobe Encore forum put me on to GEAR. it works - but very slow , people using maestro , dvd studio and scenarist do not require it and prassi does most of the jobs anyway at 1/10 the price (better burning engine by far) ..

it does have some nice features - but i found the whole program just painfully slow to use ..

OK I have the Demo version of GEAR and will checkout Prassi to. The GEAR demo is the full version and is good for 60 days.
